In my bed gives off a fairy tale vibe. It is a youtube movie by Ruth Kadiri.
The movie is about a not-so-popular actress, Flora (Uche Montana) who goes on a birthday vacation with her boyfriend, Bode (Atewe Raphael) but ends up with a rich, handsome prince charming, Mercedes (Eddie Watson)
Firstly, I would like to comment on the lead roles. They did amazing in this piece. Atewe Raphael gave Bode a whole vibe! It was as if he scripted it himself, he did great and should be appearing in more lead roles. Uche Montanna played her character flawlessly, and Eddie Watson, did great, he effortlessly pulled off the rich prince charming, however, I think it was a bit extreme when he got her a car. But then, Flora saved his life, so the car isn’t that much, I guess.
Kudos to the scriptwriter, the producers, and the director for making this beautiful piece.
Aside from the movie being quite predictable, it was beautifully rendered with attention to details.
However, when I first heard the song in the films, I thought I was seeing the “Love Me” series by Ruth Kadiri. A different song would have been better, but I guess the economy has a way of influencing these things.
Overall, “In My Bed” is a romantic movie, with a spice of comedy, and drama.
It is highly recommended for lovers of romance!
