Madam Koi-Koi, A Nigerian Horror story on Netflix will soon grace our screens!
Most Nigerians that have passed through boarding schools, especially in public schools have either had a firsthand experience of madam koi-koi or are aware of the popular story.
However, for others who schooled in private schools or never attended boarding schools, let me tell you about madam koi-koi!
So, this popular story is about a ghost that lurks around hostels, especially the female hostels. She scares students with her mysterious click of shoe heels on the floor as she passes by at night!
Meanwhile, this ghost seems to only disturb in mostly missionary girls’ schools or public secondary schools.
Now, imagine a bunch of teenagers and adolescents sleeping at night only to be awakened by the mysterious sound of heels clacking on the floor! Imagine the commotion this will cause in the hostel. Some will be crying, the prayer warriors will be praying, while the scaredy-cats will run to their school mothers for safety.
Nevertheless, some students could make up this rumour for fun. Nobody ever knew if the ghost was real, or a lie cooked up by some students to scare others for their entertainment.
But, whether the ghost of Madam Koi-Koi is real or not, Netflix has decided to bring to our screens this story. Airing on the 31st of October! If you are interested in some horror, drama, and school life, then this movie is for you!
