Perfect friendship is a rom-com. It is about two best friends (Male and Female) who live together and work at the same company. However, the male bestie finds himself a new girlfriend, and this results in a strain between the two friends.
Well, I would say the movie did a good job of relaying its story clearly to the audience, with credit to the director, producer, and scriptwriter.
Though, the cinematography and the music sound could have been better than what was offered.
The predictability was high, with no form of suspense. One could easily know the start to the end without having to see it all.
Also, Dan did a bad job of making a move on his friend when the girlfriend went off to see her sick mom! Mehn! That was pretty terrible. Plus, no scene showed when the two best friends talked about their feelings, but only captured scenes of them kissing and cuddling… with the girlfriend walking in on them. I guess they understood their hearts and no words needed to be said. I mean, I for one, think they maybe had a bedroom conversation that sorted out their newfound feelings in the absence of the viewers. They had that secret bedroom talk for couples, and the audience was not needed to see it, which is perfectly fine.
Anyways, in all, the movie was a nice way to while away time, it was interesting and quite entertaining.
I particularly love the animated sounds that captured some acts in the scene where Collins (Afes Mike Longe) was talking about his lack of boobs and ass, it made me laugh out loud.
The actors did a great job in their delivery; the tomboy turn slay queen (Chioma Nwaoha) was an intense and great transition, she better be gracing our screens often, and Sam Maurice; is one of those male actors that can make you fall in love just by watching him play out a romantic scene….
In conclusion, Perfect Friendship is an interesting romantic, movie, with a spice of comedy, and friendly vibes. It is one of those movies to watch to lighten up your day.
