Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire – Review and Free Download

Rebel Moon is a Netflix film centred around a small peaceful village threatened by a cruel ruling force.  However, living among them is a former soldier (Kora- Sofia Boutella) of the force who becomes their only hope of survival.  She embarks on a journey of finding fighters who will stand against the tyranny of the mother world in defending the village.

Rebel moon Part 1 is quite interesting, with some thrilling scenes. I like it that the first part shows the journey of meeting the different fighters who will stand by her in the fight with a mix of betrayal and loss.

However, at the beginning phase of Rebel Moon, I felt I was watching a Bollywood film because the slow motions in the first action scenes. But as the movie continued, it came off quite engaging with less slow-mo.

Also, we hope that other characters like the soldier robot and the rescued village girl will be developed in the second part.  And despite it being an action movie, I believe Kora’s love interest will also have a little development. I believe to have a great movie; it should be packed with bits of genres.

Overall, Rebel Moon Part 1 offers a promising introduction to the second part and I am eager to see what the second part will offer. The movie is packed with action, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, and drama!
