THE BLACK BOOK- An exposé of the Nigerian government or not. With free download links

It is not new that Nigerian entertainment is slowly becoming world-known, starting with the music industry, to the arts, and film.
Over the years, African stories have been told from the eyes of non-Africans, with poor representation and misinterpretation. Nevertheless, thanks to Netflix, Africa including Nollywood is now rapidly showcasing African stories and histories truthfully and in the African way.
Moreso, Nollywood has grabbed this opportunity to sway us with great works such as Anikulapo, Jagun Jagun, Blood sisters, King of Boys, King of Thieves, and the list goes on. However, among these works are ones that talk about Nigerian society, such as Shanty Town and the recent release, The Black Book.
The Black book since its release on September 22nd, 2023, has gained millions of views and ranking in countries outside Africa. I could attribute this ranking to the captivating storyline along with the great production, cinematography, and sound of the movie. Still, nothing catches my interest more than getting to learn about the situation of other places.

As I watched the movie, I got to realize or begin to believe that truly one of the reasons innocent young men are killed or thrown in prison in Nigeria could be the one acted in Black Book.
As much as I doubted the presence of a powerful secret caucus of men ruling the country, The Black Book made me rethink. This reminded me of the result of the 2020 End-Sars protest In Nigeria. One may think that The Black Book is a soft cry for help in a corrupt Nigerian society.
Anyways, no country is perfect, but Nigerian society needs a mighty lot of work to rebrand its system…and this is not only in the hands of the government, but the civilians, families, villages, and everyone working together for the better good of the nation. At some point, we have lost hope of redemption, but the black book made me feel a tiny bit positive…
Congratulations and thumps up to Editi Effiong and everyone who made this great film come to life! The film is an eye-opener and fiction is with a great sense of reality. And, as a movie lover, this is now one of the best Nollywood films I have seen.
